PhD Ruth Pinedo

Ruth Pinedo González (Valladolid), PhD in Psychology from the University of Salamanca (2008) and lecturer in the area of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Valladolid.

She is currently developing her research work on the following topics: The application of Active Methodologies and Thinking Strategies for educational inclusion in the classroom and Psychosexual Development and its impact on health in socially excluded groups. She collaborates with Spanish and European researchers and has carried out research stays at the University of Glasgow (Scotland) and the University of Porto (Portugal).

She is the coordinator of the Teaching Innovation Group entitled #PENSA_TIC recognised with the rating of excellent by the University of Valladolid and awarded the prize for Educational Innovation 2020 by the Social Council of the University of Valladolid. She is currently the director of the Centre for Online Teaching, Training and Teaching Innovation at the University of Valladolid (VirtUVa). She also has numerous scientific publications and has participated in international conferences related to her lines of research.
