Professor Andrew King is the Head of the School of the Arts at the University of Hull (UK) and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is first editor of Music, Technology, Education: Critical Perspectives, The Routledge Companion to Music, Technology, and Education and has been the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Music, Technology, and Education since 2009. He has led major research projects funded by the AHRC, The Arts Council, and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation (via PRSF and Sound and Music) in the areas of online music education, psychological wellbeing, and evaluating the impact of composer residencies.
