In the Artistic Laboratory - LAB, experimentation is developed within artistic research, deepening in its meaning and reflection in the 21st century. The music-based research explores its relationship with other forms of artistic expression or disciplines such as science, technology, psychology among other fields, and its impact on society. It is nourished by any form of artistic expression and becomes a tool for interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary production of knowledge. The IKG Lab is a common practicum space guided by highly specialised professionals for the implementation of acquired knowledge, experience and personal practice in the field of artistic research. Depending on purpose and objectives, each laboratory takes place from one single weekend to a year-long lasting commitment. Participants must prove their qualification and capacity prior admission to the laboratories as well as its connection to the individual research.
