Production with Ableton LIVE: OPENING 2021-2022
The course is divided into two modules, module I consists of program initiation and live management as well as MIDI/Audio connections of external devices and/or controllers. Module II focuses on production, recording, post-production and mixing. In both modules, production and composition techniques will be worked on, delving deeper into the creative aspects.
Aimed at: Students and/or professionals interested in electronic music production or live processing of acoustic instruments. Interested in using Ableton Live as a DAW through which to manage ecosystems of hardware and software devices, as well as creation in studio or “home-studio” and for live performance.
Requirements:
1. Have Audio Interface
2. Listening system: Headphones and Monitors (for Mixing practice).
3. MIDI controller with or without keyboard
4. Microphone (the quality or type of microphone is not important).

Theoretical and practical courses with specific themes and contents for their application in the most avant-garde and demanding artistic research projects. Artists, researchers and students will be able to acquire multiple skills according to their training needs and level of knowledge. Depending on their nature, the courses are given on-site at our headquarters in San Ildefonso, on the IKG's virtual campus or with a mixed presential-virtual structure. Some courses may be complemented with Labs.
